Well, Im a composer too…
I have watchd my mother and my father when they take a break from their work, entertaining us

Of course my mother is a great dancer
My father… well…he says he dances from the mind
Taking the emotions from the heart and stage his own version of life

One day, while they were dancing…
I saw a little frog that sat in a crystal and jumped trying to be part of the dance

I watched him very quietly and I swear I saw his funny looking mouth was singing while he danced

I folded my arms, in reverance remembering the man with the four heads
Who once spoke to me and my brother and told us…
That nothing is ever learnt by one …
That everyone is a teacher to the other
And arrogance only kills the seeking heart from knowing more

Saying this…he smiled and looked at my brother in an apologetic manner…
And told him …my dear child
…intelligence lies in your heart…but arrogance seems to keep you apart…

As I sat with folded arms now in the presence of the frog…
I saw the greatest dancer…
Perhaps even better than my mum…
There he was…mumbling something and following that mumble he danced…
And I was shocked for I saw the moon dancing along with him…

Takita, tarikita…takadhimi…takita…

When he finished the dance…
I went closer and bowed in reverence and asked him…

How did you make the moon dance?
He sat with his hind legs up…
Scratched his tongue and spoke like a wise old man

This is no great dance…
All of my kind do this every night…calling out to the moon…
To come as little streaks of light that moved amongst the swamp, the river and stream…
He looked at me and smiled…closed his eyes and told me…
Dance is the very secret of life…
So saying …he leaped and jumped down to nowhere…

From then till now…my greatest dance teacher is always there within me….
Moving me …each time I play…

Takita, tarikita…takadhimi…takita
