Dasavatharam, the painting was inspired by the similarity of the months of conception to the ten reincarnation of Vishnu, the preserver. Each subject holds stories of their personality and incidents that made their role a very significant one in the scriptures.

The painting is divided into three panels, two of it holding three reincarnations and the final one holding four. The three panels are to represent the beginning, mid-state and the end. The three panels are arranged to be viewed from the right to the left, following the clockwise pattern.

I have taken the liberty as an artist to express my version of the great epic. Every character portrayed, carry a story of their own seen through my own perception.
